 I know a couple who take note of their engagement anniversary monthly. Surely this couple gives much more meaning to the celebration of their wedding anniversary which finalized their vows and made them into one. They are just happy to remember the memorable times of their lives. Taking note of special events like birthdays and anniversaries show that we care for the person and we celebrate with them.
Thoughtfulness will endear us to the targeted person. So for couples it is of utmost importance that we remember such dates especially the one on taking the marriage vows. Some really take pains to plan how to celebrate it meaningfully. Be it the first year or your 101th year. Here are some suggestions which are best visited by only the two of you sans the children.

A candle lit dinner in a special restaurant or place. Taking a reservation to a posh restaurant will usually tickle the wife. Once in a while, one wants to dress up and spend a precious moment together. Another romantic idea is a trip down memory lane taking the car to places that are memorable for the two of you.
Visiting and feeling the place where you started your love affair, rekindles the young love in you, making it easier to remember how you fell in love with each other in the first place. Or just looking at the video or pictures of unforgettable moments of the family can create an intimate bonding.
A vacation. An excursion to a tourist attraction, a resort or a place with an adventure theme that the two of you are interested in. There’s nothing better than to indulge with each other. Take time out from the pressures of your daily lives. A great vacation can awaken the lost “sparks” and feel that “high school thrill” again.
Surely an ultimate bonding moment. Another unique idea is to have your special moment in the spa. Where the both of you can have your self pampered. Having a private spa moment you both deserve can truly create a dreamy relaxing mood. A little quicky in the sauna and a great massage afterwards makes a fun and unique wedding anniversary moment.
If both of you are city dwellers and tired of the city view, going outside the town and have a quiet time alone under the stars sitting on a swing or lying on the grass and reminisce special moments. Isn't it perfect and very romantic? Don’t forget to bring a champagne to have that special wedding anniversary toast under the stars.
A party! That's another suggestion. A night out dancing and being young again where both of you are dressed to the nines. You can go to the hottest and latest bar and just let go of yourself like nothing else matters and dance the night away…This kind of wedding anniversary celebration never grows old.
So it may be simple, quiet, fun or crazy. It is best to plan it and make your anniversary celebration memorable and unforgettable. It is an added deposit to the emotional bank of your spouse and she/he will treasure you even if you will go ahead earlier to the Great Beyond.
