Your Perfect Guide To Traditional Wedding Anniversary Gifts

Tags: , ,

Traditional wedding anniversary gifts can make annual celebration of your marriage exciting. Traditional wedding anniversary gifts are presents that represent the number of years you’ve been together. As the years passed by and your union deepens, a special themed gift is preferred in celebrating this yearly occasion. The longer the marriage the more valuable the gift.

That’s why the first year represents the paper and the sixtieth the diamond. Some people say that following the traditional wedding anniversary gifts can bring luck and prosperity to the couple. Though I’m not a big believer of luck and not a big fan of traditions, this time I am making an exception.

Nothing else can bring luck and harmony to a union than a well celebrated yearly marriage ceremony. You know the cliché- “A happy wife, a happy life”, it applies to this. Nothing can make a woman happy than remembering the day you made your vows to spend your whole life together.

Abiding in traditional wedding anniversary gifts can also lessen your options on what to give her. You now have a category choose from annually. Your presents need not to be expensive, with a little touch of creativity and some elements of surprise, you’re on your way to a perfect celebration.

For your guide on traditional wedding anniversary gifts here are some few suggestions. The first year is the paper. If you’re hard on cash, you can make a compiled scrapbook of all the love letters you gave her. If you have none of those then writing a poem is romantic enough.

If cash is not as issue, surprising her with a concert ticket of her favorite band or orchestra can totally sweep her off her feet. On your second annual marriage celebration, the perfect traditional wedding anniversary gifts are anything that is made of cotton materials. If you are trying to save some cash, cotton t-shirt with a print of funny caricatures of both you can be rather funny or a sweet quote like “My greatest accomplishment was convincing my wife to marry me.” On your third annual celebration the traditional wedding anniversary gifts are anything that is made of leather.

I have one word for this- Manolo Blahnik. You can never go wrong with Manolo. On your fourth celebration, the traditional wedding anniversary gifts are fruits and flowers. You can surprise her with a garden party or filling your bed with rose petals is a moment worth remembering. The fifth year represents the wood, a nice coffee table or a set of furniture or a wood sculpture can be very memorable.

On the sixth year, iron is the themed gift, a unique gift idea can be an iron mask sculptured from the contour of her face. This can be a wonderful memorabilia for your sixth year celebration as husband and wife. On your seventh year, the tradition is giving materials made of wool.

A blanket or a coat is the first thing that comes to mind. These things may not be as unique as the rest but by adding some element of surprise to it is enough to make her heart melt. The eight annual marriage ceremony is bronze, one thing that comes to mind is a miniature bronze sculpture of the two of you.

That can really make an impression and will last long enough for your grandchildren to see. Whatever you decide to give her in your annual celebration never forget to say how much you love her and how much you care for her. Remember, your love and respect matters more than anything else.
