************************************************************
Clothes are part and parcel of
a woman’s individuality.
What a woman wears typically
speaks volumes about her
personality.
Often, it is one of the essential
factors in the dating or
relationship game.
This is because the majority
of "first impressions" a woman
creates is largely based on
how she looks - and often it's
on how they carry their
clothing style.
So, it comes as no surprise
that when women look to
attract that "special" someone,
dressing to impress is one
major rule.
It's no secret that every woman
wants to know how to look
more beautiful in order to be
special to the eyes of their
loved ones.
The good news is dressing
well is half the battle.
The golden rule for dressing
well is to keep it clean and
simple - other than that, here
are some tips on how to
dress to impress:
************************************************************
1. Many women spend a lot
of money on expensive clothes
only to end up looking like
they’re wearing a potato
sack.
Well, an expensive potato sack,
that is.
Wearing clothes that don’t
fit properly just because it
looks snazzy and is made
by so-and-so couture is just
as bad as pairing anything
in your closet with hideous
cowboy boots (think Britney
Spears!).
Some women think that just
because they are wearing
designer clothing, it's okay
if it’s a little too big, a bit
too small, misshapen, a
little too short or a little too
long.
Wrong!
Clothes must skim the body
and hang well, because “the
fit” matters more than the
size.
Loose clothing only makes
you look baggy and tight
clothing emphasizes the
curves that you don't want
emphasized - definitely not
something you want to
use to attract guy.
Bring along a friend when
shopping to help you check
if your dream dress fits,
OR
if you can afford it, find
yourself a good tailor and
have one specially made
to fit.
The simplest of clothes can
stand out with accessories.
Finding the perfect clothes is
crucial, since it could make
or break your fashion statement
which in turn can make or
break your quest for finding
"him," if you get my meaning.
2. The very best shoes, belt,
purse or scarf are definitely
a good addition to a wardrobe.
And by "best" I don't mean
expensive.
Often one can’t help but give
in to having “accessory
overload”, but this would be
a bad idea and should be
avoided altogether.
Just imagine walking around
town wearing enough
accessories to sink
the Titanic.
Wearing one or two accessories
are enough to make a statement.
The same principle applies to
jewelry. And If you simply
must wear more, just make
sure that all the pieces are
in harmony with each other
and with the rest of your outfit.
While it's true that clothes
make a woman, (to borrow
a page from the men) but
it's also true you would rather
be remembered for your
conversation and personality
and not by the rather obscene
rock on your finger that's the
size of New Jersey.
You want him to remember
you, not your rock.
3. When you are fond of
following trends, your aim
is to look fresh, tuned in,
and up to date.
Staying abreast of the fads
is important, lest your clothes
become out-of-date.
This may mean that you have
to buy new clothes all the time
but that's not necessarily so.
You can incorporate classic
pieces with your up-to-the-
minute ones so you can be
fashionable without having
to spend a lot on a new
wardrobe every season.
Every article of clothing that
you put on must work well
together - and I'm not just
talking about colors here.
The fabric, styles and
accessories should match.
If you're having uncertainties
as to what to wear play it
safe by choosing an outfit
that can be dressed up
or down with jewelry,
scarf or a jacket.
4. The essential thing you
need to remember is the
importance of cleanliness.
Soiled and stained clothes
will never look expensive,
even if they truly are.
No designer jeans in the world
can beat a clean and fresh-
smelling one.
Ditto with your own personal
grooming.
Clean clothes can never take
away from soiled hair or dirty
nails.
A well-groomed hair, clean
manicured nails and fresh
breath can make anyone
look like a million dollars
even with the simplest
of outfits.
