Romance for busy people can be quite tricky. Aside from juggling career and family, they have to give extra effort for romance in the relationship. Unlike before when it’s just the two of you, it is so easy to have leisure time for romance after work. But now, with the kids and household chores, you hardly have time for yourselves.
You become conscious for so long now that you are living parallel lives. With all the obligations and responsibilities, you overlook the fact that you are also a couple. With all the stress and pressure from work, you push that longing for romance behind the back doors of your subconscious.

But do you know that setting aside romance can only make matters worst for you and your partner? It can put a strain in your relationship and make every obligation and responsibilities heavier to carry. It is because romance is one of our needs as a couple and as a person.
It makes us feel we belong and we are valued and loved. Busy people are usually driven and committed people. They are so focused on their goal (that’s why they are busy people). They tend to set aside and compromise other things not related to the achievement of their goals.
To have romance for busy people, is a matter of mind channeling. Channeling the mind of busy people about keeping the fire burning in their relationship is essential for their success. With this matter in mind, as a busy person you will put romance in your agenda; include it in your schedule.
Make a once a week couple moment. Where both of you can turn off your phone and spend quality time together even just for an hour or two. A couple moment can be spending extra time in the bed after waking up in the morning, where both of you can indulge in sex and romance.
Have breakfast in bed or take a long hot shower together. It can also be a lunch date where you can have your afternoon delight in a motel and be each others lunch. Or after work, before going home, you go have a dinner in a fancy restaurant and watch a movie, or a walk in the park under the stars.
Whatever or whenever you decide, put that “woohoo” time in your schedule once a week. You talk things out about is the best time for both of you- breakfast, lunch or dinner. Synchronize your calendar. It will be worth it. One fun idea is to have quickies out of the blue aside from your weekly couple time.
Have a 15- 20 minutes quicky in the car, in the blind spot of a parking place, in the back of an old building, in an empty utility room or in a restaurant’s comfort room. Whatever excites you both. This can really add some spice in your daily hectic routines.
And mind you, taking double black coffee is nothing compared to a quicky sex if you want to be perked up for the rest of the day. Another way to have romance for busy people is to plan ahead of time for a vacation, at least 3 times or 4 times a year.
Go out of town and rekindle your love life and recharge your batteries. Re-energize. Everybody needs to have a vacation; avoid mental and emotional burn out. Grasp that your relationship is important. Have that commitment with each other to keep you relationship alive. Never take each other for granted because no matter how successful you are, it will have no value if you go home alone with nothing but an empty bed and a bill from your divorce lawyer.
