 Men are polygamous by nature. When we heard cases of an infidel husband, it is old news. On the other hand, when we heard a wife having an affair, it instantly becomes, "The News". Yes, a philandering wife often becomes an overnight infamous celebrity. She instantly becomes, "The Town Most Hated Person." Once an infidel wife got caught, it’s unforgivable.
She will forever be marked with scarlet letter throughout her lifetime. Everybody remembers a cheating wife. But in spite of a heavy consequences attached to it, women still risk having an affair. Are they that desperate or just dense to think or even consider the consequences of their actions? As human beings, we are not in the position to judge anyone.

There are stories behind every story, so who are we to get ahead of the tale? I always believe that when a woman cheats, there's a far more greater reason than that of a man. Here are some reasons why women cheat: 1) The most common reason why women cheat is because they have been taken for granted.
No matter how much she tries to do everything in her capacity to fulfill her duties to her children and husband, there is no gratification or hint of appreciation. 2) When it reached to a point when a couple never talks anymore about “little things” like dreams, aspirations, and ideals, that’s when a woman feels alienated and lonely.
This is when outside attention becomes alluring and hard to resist. And when a wife finally found someone to talk to, in a person of another man, she would then see this as an opportunity or a blessing to have finally met someone who will listen and share her thoughts with her.
When a woman reached this point, having an affair becomes a guiltless act. 3) Another reason why women cheat is they are already living separate lives. This is when the husband prefers to go out of town with his friends and the wife couldn't care less. 4) Another reason why women cheat is because they get to realize that she has more common ground with her lover than her husband.
5) Another reason why women cheat is to get even. Women can be vengeful and they can move heaven and hell just to get revenge. A philandering husband will sure get a dose of his own medicine. 6) Too much verbal, emotional and physical abuse can pave a way for a wife to cheat.
This is when she can see her lover as a savior and a haven. In general, women cheat because of loneliness and emotional distress. And the affair usually begins with an emotional affair and progresses into a full pledge physical affair. That’s why for all husbands out there, if you don't want your wives to play around...
