 Every other person probably goes out on a double date at some point in their lives. It could happen to you, too—soon. Double dates can actually be a fun and exciting way to spend the night away whether it’s a casual affair with some friends or a blind date set up by your best bud’s fiancée.
Not only can you enjoy the evening with a current or potential girlfriend, but also have the companionship of people you are already comfortable with. So, can a double date really double the fun? Read on and learn the ins and outs of double dating: Sometimes the idea of bringing a girl around your friends and the crazy woman they are currently dating may seem like an idea waiting for disaster.

However, going on a double date with them can also work at your advantage. The thing is, no matter how odd or outrageous your friends may be, it is very likely that you’ll be more relaxed around them than you would be when dating a total stranger alone (especially if it’s a blind date and you have no idea if the girl is some kind of whack).
Having a buddy with you on a first date may give you the advantage of showing your relaxed side, especially if you are having a hard time being yourself around unfamiliar people. Another advantage of a double date is having another woman along—no, don’t hit on your buddy’s companion, for cryin’ out loud! This other woman that we’re talking about can actually help you open your eyes on how sloppy you actually were (you thought you’d get lucky, huh?).
Since women tend to have sharp eyes and notice even the small things that a man can do to mess up a night, this other woman can help you realize the unappealing things that you unconsciously did the whole time. Maybe she’ll even give you her opinion on how to polish your act if you’re nice enough.
On the other hand, no woman likes a crowd around all the time, even if she knows and understands just how much you love hanging out with your friends. Opt for a double date too often and things will get old —you won’t get to spend any public alone time together which is what a girl really wants.
Besides, how can you possibly get to know each other better and spend quality time together if your friends are always hovering around like annoying houseflies? There’s always another side to a man that he would never let his friends see—the “sensitive” side—the part that women want to see and often respond to.
If you want her to see that adorable side of yours, then maybe it’s time to have some much-needed one-on-one with her. And oh, if it’s a first date and the girl turns out to be superfine, you might want to put as much space as possible between her and your single male friends.
in fact, take her away ASAP because if you finally decide that you absolutely, positively like her, she can be all yours—not flirting around a roomful of available guys while you stand there, alone and forgotten.
